"It's rare that I would go right back to a restaurant soon--but I'd go back to this place tomorrow. Excellent food, lots of local dishes at an extremely reasonable prices. The staff were attentive without being overly present, and were always willing to take a minute to respond to questions. Great atmosphere, cool design. Try the peperoni cruschi!"

"Go there for the view! If you get a table on the terrace it’s worth it, otherwise there are better places out there. What we ate was good, but can’t say I was impressed with the menu."

"I am quite fond of the ambiance and the scenery offered by this restaurant. The cuisine, particularly the pork ribs accompanied by sausage, is delightful and tender, which I enjoyed with a mixed salad. The prosciutto paired with melon is also a very pleasant choice. The fettuccine ai fungi, prepared al dente, is also quite flavorful. The staff members are all amiable and courteous. The tiramisu also good too hot n worm feel at the same time maybe they put some icecream in the middle and espresso with lady finger all together. I would certainly recommend this establishment if you happen to be in the vicinity and wish to savor the delights of Sassi di Matera. They have menu with pictures so easy for me to understand it."

"This restaurant gives you the feel of the towns building's. Inside a cave like building hundreds of years old. Besides great food the service was excellent and atmosphere perfect. There are a few steps down to get on and up to get out.. but well worth the short climb up leaving."
